About Chris Daming

Chris Daming is the Founder & CEO of LegalGPS, a platform empowering entrepreneurs to navigate complex legal landscapes with confidence.

Before launching LegalGPS, Chris served in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and later earned both a J.D. and an LL.M., practicing law and running the Startup Legal law firm. Through these experiences, he witnessed firsthand the confusion, cost, and complexity that deter small businesses from seeking legal help.

While working in a coworking space, Chris noticed that entrepreneurs constantly had “quick legal questions”—questions often too simple to justify hefty legal fees, yet too important to leave unanswered.

Realizing that most small businesses weren’t hiring attorneys at all, Chris set out to change that.

He developed LegalGPS as a straightforward, user-friendly guide that ensures entrepreneurs know what legal steps to take, understand why they matter, and receive the practical tools to take action.
